CSR – Mission Statement

Fuzen Decor Bali aims to conduct its business by being a responsible corporate citizen within the frame work of the law and using responsible practices in the interest of the environment, society, its employees and stakeholders.

We define Corporate Social Responsibility as follows:

• Managing business in a socially responsible and ethical manner;

• Caring for the environment and the safety and well-being of people;

• Supporting human values; and

• Engaging, learning from, respecting and supporting the communities and cultures with which we work.

In alignment with our Mission Statement, Fuzen Decor Bali will ensure that matters of Corporate Social Responsibility are considered and supported in our operations and administrative matters and are consistent with our stakeholders’ best interests.

This Policy is built on the following areas that reflect existing and emerging standards of Corporate Social Responsibility:

Business Ethics and Transparency

Fuzen Decor Bali is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance practices in order to maintain excellence in its daily operations, and to promote confidence in our governance systems.

Fuzen Decor Bali will conduct its business in an open, honest, and ethical manner.

Fuzen Decor Bali recognizes the importance of protecting all of our human, financial, physical, informational, social, environmental, and reputational assets.

Fuzen Decor Bali has and will advise our partners, contractors, and suppliers of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, and will work with them to achieve consistency with this policy.

Environment, Health & Safety

Fuzen Decor Bali is committed to protecting the health and safety of all individuals affected by our activities, including our employees, suppliers, clients and the community. Fuzen Decor Bali will provide a safe and healthy working environment, and will not compromise the health and safety of any individual. Our goal is to have no accidents and mitigate impacts on the environment by working with our stakeholders, partners and others to promote responsible environmental practices and continuous improvement.

Fuzen Decor Bali is committed to environmental protection and stewardship.

Fuzen Decor Bali recognizes that pollution prevention, biodiversity and resource conservation are key to a sustainable environment, and have effectively integrated these concepts into our business decision-making.

Fuzen Decor Bali adheres to regulations within the framework of Indonesia’s sustainable forest management by providing all our importers with forest management certification and timber industry legality certification known as Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (SVLK), or the Timber Legality Assurance System (VL).  This provides assurance that timber and timber products produced, processed and sold by Fuzen Decor Bali come from legal sources and are in full compliance with relevant Indonesian laws governing forestation.

All employees are responsible and accountable for contributing to a safe working environment, for fostering safe working attitudes, and for operating in an environmentally responsible manner.

Fuzen Decor Bali  ensures that employees are treated fairly and with dignity and consideration for their goals and aspirations and that cultural diversity in the workplace is embraced.

Fuzen Decor Bali applies fair labour practices, while respecting the laws of Indonesia and the Indonesian community.

Our vision for the business of Fuzen Decor Bali is to become a leading exporter of Indonesian hand made furniture and decor products worldwide. As we move towards this objective we understand that doing what we do has an impact that goes beyond our direct customers. It has an impact on the people who work for and with us, on the planet as a whole and on the communities of which we are part.

CSR is a universal factor which affects all areas and business units, from decision-making to ways of working, to form part of the company culture. The Fuzen Decor Bali CSR Policy is our strategic roadmap to reach our business objectives by ensuring implementation of our activities under the following guidelines.
